WINNING TEAMS 2011

Many thanks to all participants in this year’s Creative Contest! We are thrilled by your ideas, efforts and your creative approach to the “World Cup of Ideas”!

Last year all participants proved to be extraordinary creative and imaginative. This year, your contributions were equally high class!

This time your task was to express your ideas on cultural differences between your home countries and Germany. We received a number of videos and photo collages, each dealing with this year’s subject in a different manner.

As you can probably imagine, we had a very hard time choosing the winning teams... but finally here they are!

1st winning team: Chiara Woelhaf, Vivienne Chan and Aayushi Srivastava International School of Stuttgart Idea: Elaborately designed video showing a reunion party with both Indian and German guests wearing traditional clothes, eating typical Indian and German food and listening to German as well as Indian music.
Thanks a lot to the teacher(s) who supported this team. We are happy to provide you with an automatic coffee maker for your school’s teachers’ lounge!


2nd winning team: Anna Dylla, Lydia Mengesha, Elyse Austin and Maddison Clyne International School of Stuttgart Idea: Enjoyable video giving facts and figures on Ethiopia as well as Germany and comparing both countries in terms of sports, food, clothing and music.


3rd winning team: Tracy Shen, Jacky Jiang, Nancy Cao, Patrick Su, Nancy Tang and Yuku Qian Shanghai Pinghe School Idea: Humorous video comparing Chinese and German eating habits regarding dinner rules, food, different ways of payment etc.
